VividPages | Turn PDFs into immersive experiences

This Privacy Policy explains how VividPages, a product of Round Table Strategy LLC ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. What We Collect

Account information: name, email address, hashed password
Uploaded content: PDF files you upload to create flipbooks
Usage data: pages viewed, flipbook view counts, session duration
Device information: browser type, language preferences (for session security)
Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and improve the VividPages service
To process payments and manage subscriptions
To send transactional emails (account security, billing)
To generate analytics about flipbook engagement
To extract text from PDFs for voice narration

3. Third-Party Services

Fish Audio	AI voice narration (text sent for audio generation)

4. Voice Narration and Text

When you enable voice narration, text extracted from your PDF is sent to Fish Audio for audio generation. This text is processed for the sole purpose of creating narration audio and is not stored by the voice provider beyond the generation request.

5. Data Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (12 rounds)
Sessions use JWT with server-side validation
All connections use HTTPS/TLS
Account lockout after 5 failed login attempts
Server-side device fingerprinting for session security

6. Data Retention

Your account data and flipbooks are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data (including uploaded PDFs and generated audio) will be permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. We respond to all requests within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use a single httpOnly session cookie for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
